4 days Tour From Fes to sahara Desert

Day 1 : Fes – Midelt – Merzouga.

Set off from Fes through the middle Atlas mountains and Cedar forests of Azrou city, which are renowned all over the world. Cedar was used by Romans to build houses and ships. Also,passing through Ifrane beautiful landscapes,a Swiss-style town.

The drive holds towards ZIZ valley where the desert’s breathtaking scenery are going to be explored. Once you arrive in Erfoud you are going to take an off-road to Merzouga. You will stay the night in a hotel for getting rest.

Day 2 : Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

The whole day is dedicated to discover the beauty of southeastern Sahara. You will have the chance to visit a variety of inspiring sites including: nomads, oases and an entire view of Erg Chebbi sand. You will also visit the black-skinned peaple’s village ‘Khamlia’ to go in for their original music ’Gnaoua’.

In the afternoon,you will make an admirable adventure on camels during sunset. You will definitely enjoy the night in tradional Berber tents in the middle of the dunes.

A day absulotely full of adventure and pleasure.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate.

Early morning, you shall get up for the magnificent sunrise before you ride camels back to the hotel. After having breakfast, you directly head to your next destination passing through the biggest oasis in the southeast of Morocco ’Rissani town’, or ’Tafilalt’, the anceint name. Many other Berber villages amid palm groves are in the same road to the wonderful valley of Todra.

You will be then driving on narrow passes and valleys. There is a great landscape of colored mountains and historical Kasbahs of different shapes. Arrive in Ourzazate before evening and spend the night in a riad.

Day 4 : Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech.

This day has its particular surprise that you will sojourn the mother of all Moroccan Kasbahs. Ait Ben Haddou is an enchanting Berber architectural structure.It was built about 800 years ago.The Kasbah ruins still embody the great culture of its inhabitants. Greatly the site has an admiring veiw of the high Atlas mountains chain and caravan trails(used by traders). It’s the place where many movies were filmed.

When leaving the Kasbah, you will drive on to Marrakech via Tichka pass(2,260 m.a.s.l), passing through picturesque valleys, having lunch and taking panoramic photos from the top.
