Lunch in Midelt, then onward through the Ziz Valley, with breathtaking palm groves and ancient kasbahs. By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Here, we trade our vehicle for camels and begin a sunset trek into the desert. We arrive at a luxury desert camp. Drumming, and storytelling around the campfire complete this magical night.
We wake early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara. After breakfast, we begin our journey to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m).
