we departure to Moroccan capital ” Rabat ” , after your breakfast at your hotel in Casablanca we visit the most important places and we drive toward rabat. After we we arrive in rabat by afternoon we will have time for visiting the important sites, for example we see ( kasbah odaya’s and panoramic view of atlantic ocean and also we visit Hassan Tower , that’s incomplete Mosque, was built by Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur , the tower was intended to be the largest minarite in the world, after we pass to see the “kasbah Chella ” is one of the beautiful of medina in rabat.Free afternoon and overnight at riad.
After your breakfast at hotel in rabat, we will departure into ” bleu city ” Chefchaouan, a beautifully sited beneath the raw peaks of the Rif, Chefchaouen is one of the prettiest towns in Morocco, an artsy, blue-washed mountain village that feels like its own world. The old medina is a delight of Moroccan and Andalucian influence with red-tiled roofs, bright-blue buildings and narrow lanes converging on busy Plaza Uta el-Hammam and it’s restored kasbah. Here you will spend a night in a nice accommodation with a panoramic view that allows you to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of the nature. Drop off in your accommodation.
After your breakfast in the riad our authentic journey will start towards volubilis crossing via wazan and other rif villages, after the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes where we will stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the medina, bab el mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay ismail shrine. After the visit of Meknes we will drive directly to Fes city where you will spend the night. Night in your Riad.
You will have a guided visit and walking to discover the medina and the famous Souks of Fes – its narrow cobbled streets are filled with ancient mosques and towering green-glazed minarets.. You will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fes. The tour will include a visit to the tannery and the ceramics cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan crafts. After breakfast we will depart for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will drive through Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland’ of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch. We will then follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorges on our way to Merzouga. From here we reach Er Rachidia and then Erfoud, famous for its date festival and fossils, and to the famous Dunes of Erg Chebbi. After a welcoming glass of tea in a Guest House near the dunes, we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert. Night in Desert Camp.
If you wake up early, you can watch the spectacle of the sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. In this etapada, live first hand all the culture and the Berber hospitality. We will make the return of the dunes, visiting the village of Khamlia, known as the town of blacks, former slaves from Mali, famous for its music. Continuraremos our way by ancient tracks of the “Paris-Dakar Rally” to visit the abandoned village of Mfiss and mines of the kholl. We will take a tea with the desert nómdas and pass by desert plateaus to reach the oasis of Tiserdmin. After lunch, we will continue road to our Hotel in Merzouga, the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, the only sub-Saharan dunes of Morocco. In the dunes, you can take advantage of the rest of afternoon for walking or admire the sunset. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
After breakfast you can walk in the dunes before leaving Rissani is the ancient capital of Tafilalet, its location as a crossroads between north and south have the city a certain importance in previous times. A former major caravan center ,rissani remains a major commercial center in the region, with large soul. It is noted for its leather and Goat skin trading , then we travel towards Toudgha gorges for lunch. The road passes through Tinjdad and the Toudgha Valley.
After breakfast a walk in the Dades Gorges is scheduled. Back to the car, our trip today is to Marrakech we will drive through the Valley of the Roses, and past the kasbahs of Amridil in Skoura Palm, the route goes on to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage site and the backdrop for many Hollywood blockbusters. It is the most famous Ksar in Morocco. From there the road continues to Telouet, along the new asphalted road. At the end of the afternoon we arrive in Marrakesh. Dropping you off in your accommodation.
Today you will have tour the medina with your local guide, Marrakech, a city famous for its Jemaa el Fna, which will occupy much of our time: an amalgam of aromas, sounds and sensations unique. The city also has plenty of places you wander and enjoy: Gardens Majorelle, Menara, Tombs Saadianas, walks or the mellah medina, the route of the walls, the modern city (Gueliz) with Western lifestyles. Today we will travel towards Ourika After a short drive from Marrakech into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. We will take the road along the valley of Ourika. Our first stop will be in a traditional house of a Berber family who lives in the valley. At this place you will explore a region which still practice a medieval agricultural tradition.
After your breakfast at your hotel in Marrakech we will drive. towards. Essaouira “Mogador”. See the amazing mixture of Portuguese and Berber architecture. Overnight at your Riad.
